Workiva Executive Onboard Coaching

Congratulations on your new role at Workiva!

Executive coaching is offered as part of your onboarding process. It can help you make your transition into this new role as impactful as possible.

Our proven program delivers positive results for leaders in a new role, whether they are new to leadership or come with ample experience. The coach will help them think strategically and act intentionally from the onset to build a solid foundation with their teams for success for years to come. You can expect to meet with your coach on a weekly basis (typically). You’ll work with your coach to identify your core values as a leader, commit to some goals, and then begin to try out new behaviors. Over the course of your initial days in this role, you’ll identify which of the 7 areas you’re succeeding in, and which need more attention; your coach will tailor the program to align with your unique needs.

Through this program, leaders will:

  • Establish Personal Credibility: Promote their ability to be successful in their role without being boastful.

  • Communicate their vision: Clearly articulate the future of the organization and a plan to achieve it. 

  • Build Trust: Identify key stakeholders and develop a relationship of mutual trust. 

  • Orient Themselves: Understand what key stakeholders expect of them in the role. 

  • Assess the Team: Determine their team’s desire and ability to win. 

  • Secure Early Wins: Create success early to build momentum and credibility. 

  • Assess the Health of the Business: Develop data-based methods to understand what works and what does not.
